Event Details
Filmmaker’s workshop is a returning experimental activity during VAF, and once again we’ve invited creative animation students to produce a short film together. In two days they will collectively create a fantastic film with a theme that is yet to be revealed.
Filmmaker’s workshop brings together a handful of young international filmmakers with a number of Bachelor degree students of The Animation Workshop/VIA University College to engage in a creative animation jam.
The intense 2-day workshop first and foremost is about the creative process and getting inspired by each other, as well as making a very short collaborative film based on a select theme/prompt.
Filmmaker, multimedia artist and teacher Uri Kranot lead the workshop and he is assisted by filmmaker and visual artist Philip Piaget. The workshop is produced by educational coordinator Liga Miezite Jensen.
