Kristian Pedersen
Born, raised and living in Copenhagen. Industrial Designer, MA in Design The Royal Academy, BA in visual communication from Denmark’s Media and Journalism College and Art Director – father of two girls and a boy. time foreperson for Danske Kunsthåndværkere & Designere, now board member of the Association of Architects and Designers, board member of Kolding Design School and member of the Norwegian Art Fund’s Representative Office since 2017. Self-employed designer since 1996. Has worked in international advertising, e.g. a. in Paris and New York. Over the years, tasks have been completed for IBM WW, Apple, Microsoft, Berlingske Tidende, Ekstra Bladet, Hempel Yacht WW, Nestlé WW, Mattel, the Danish Palace and Culture Agency and many more.

Susanne Bækby
Susanne Bækby Gerges is a dynamic animation director, art director, and animator deeply connected to The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark. After graduating, Susanne launched her career as a freelancer and created her first short film, ‘Cheers Viola’, which won the Animation Talent Award at the Odense Film Festival in 2013.
Her journey took her to Bristol, UK, where she worked from the vibrant Jamaica Street Artists studio on numerous global short film projects. Susanne has also contributed as a background painter on productions like LEGO Elves, Disney’s Big Hero 6: The Series, and the BBC’s Driver Dan’s Story Train.
In 2009, Susanne founded Drawesome Pictures, a studio renowned for its powerful animated films that address themes of social issues, health, and care with both empathy and creativity. Currently, she leads Drawesome Pictures and serves as the animation art director for an upcoming feature film for preschoolers.
Alongside her directorial work, Susanne teaches at The Animation Workshop and has shared her expertise with LEGO’s creative teams and other educational institutions. Her mission is to direct animated short films that educate, empower, and deeply resonate with audiences around the globe.
